David Howe, an alleged online gambling fraudster, whose disappearance after selling online gambling sites to unsuspecting people was widely covered over online gambling news, was recently apprehended. Howe was exposes back in April by a Denver television channel and was recently arrested by Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the Arizona Department of Gaming. There are many people today, not necessarily associated with online gambling, who are looking for a job that can be done from their home.
Whether it's freelancers, parents who wish to remain home with their new-borns or senior citizens looking for an extra income, there are a lot of people out there wishing to manage a small business, such as an online gambling site. These people were precisely Howe's targets, as he offered them to purchase online gambling sites for as little as 999 dollars and promised them they'd earn as much as 25,000 dollars in only three months. When his promised revenues have not materialized, these people tried contacting Howe for advice and were further conned for their money.
Now it was suggested to them that the online gambling site is not receiving enough publicity and they should get better listing in search engines, in exchange for additional thousands of dollars to be paid to Venture Concepts, How's alleged company. Only when Denver television channel found Howe's company's offices and discovered that it is vacant, was the scam revealed to these innocent victims. Howe is now facing charges of professional gambling, fraud, computer crimes and providing online gambling information. He is accused of selling online gambling sites to clients, who were to operate them from their US located homes, which is, of course, illegal.
